My New Year Wish:
We're not perfect but we are improving. Resolving to be more spiritual is not a hard date to keep or a hard bar to jump over. It's a daily resetting of mind and soul. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is God's will - His good, pleasing and perfect will" (Romans 12:2).
It's trying again when you "fail" and knowing you can never fail if you're trying! It is Grace.
May 2019 be your best year yet as you transform into the person God meant you to be.

Remember, in God's eyes you are not failing if you're trying. You don't give up on your son if he strikes out again and again at home plate. You see his effort and you support him, you stand by him as he fights to overcome his failures. God stands and remains beside us as we fight the good fight of faith. As long as you put in the effort, as long as you are trying, you are not failing!
