Have you ever felt that inner check? That quiet nudge? That moment when something just doesn't sit right inside of you? That's not random! I call it my "check spirit light.' Proverbs tells us that the sprit of a man is a lamp of the Lord (Proverbs 20:27). It searches all the inner-depth of his heart. That means that God doesn't just deal with what's on the outside, He's going deeper on what's on the inside. If the Spirit is like a lamp, then He uses that to search what's really going on inside of you. Not just your actions, your thoughts, your intentions, or the things that nobody else sees. HE SEES THOSE CLEARLY.
We don't always recognize everything that's in our own heart. We can justify things. We can overlook things,not purposely, and then we can convince ourselves that we're right. But The Lord sees straight through it all. But He's not searching so that He can condemn us. Hes searching so He can reveal. You can't change what you refuse to see! That inner-conviction that you feel sometimes, that "check spirit light"? That's not something to ignore. That's the Lamp! And it's turning on.
What do you do when that Light come on? Do you listen to that? Do you push it down? Do you respond to it? Or do you just explain it away? Because the more you ignore that Light the easier it gets to live in the dark. But the more you respond to it the clearer your life will become. God's Light doesn't just expose, it leads, it brings clarity, direction, and alignment. So don't run from it, welcome it. Say, "Here I am. Search me Oh GOD. Show me what I don't see" (Psalm 139). The person who let's God's Light search their heart, is the one who starts walking in truth. So don't dim that Light. Let that Light lead you. I PROMISE YOU, IT WILL LEAD YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
